Maria Caroline Nakayiza
Maria Caroline Nakayiza is a versatile lawyer with experience in human rights law, family law, health and the law and computers and the law. She has been trained and mentored to organize and manage program activities that support the strategic direction of the organization with due regard to its vision, mission and mandate. She has developed evaluation and monitoring methods to assess program strengths as well as met with stake holders to assess needs and set goals so as to ensure easy communication and transparency in all programs. Caroline writes program funding proposals and liases with donors and funders together with providing strategic communications counselling to staff and volunteers. She also manages shadows of a child’s visual brand, online content and implement as well as co-ordinate campaigns supporting various programs and partnerships. Maria Caroline is a compassionate and dedicated child and youth rights’ activists who researches, monitors and sensitizes communities about child and youth rights. She has secured various child and youth protection orders especially for those with disabilities, HIV/AIDS and those exposed to inhuman and degrading treatment. Her zeal is to serve and protect vulnerable children and youth to enable them realize their full potential.
