Emmergency Rescue & Relief Program

Under this program SoC focuses on medical support, basic needs and shelter for children and families in dire need. SoC partners with health facilities to provide emergency medication to children in need.

Shadows of a child comes to the rescue to such children and young people whose families are in dire situations with support from the local law enforcement institutions as well as other various organizations by standing in the gap when they have no one to turn to. We offer medical assistance through the community health facilities by helping with the cost of medical bills, the most common reason for children and youth being at risk of losing their lives. We assist children and youth with items such as clothes, beddings and food in incidents of disaster and pandemics, be it a natural disaster like floods or the loss of a parent or guardian.

We also respond to land rights violation in the community through providing legal information and linking victims to litigation services, as well as training young volunteers with emergency response skills
